Anaglyph

Cross-Eyed

Parallel Viewing

One of the most complex 2-D to 3-D conversions I have done to date. Dealing with lots of transparent items, fog and some very ugly friends made this one very challenging... and lots of fun.

Anaglyph

A pretty cool image presented by Goodyear. As a lenticular we limited our depth to only go "back". In spite of this, the image maintained pretty good depth and a pretty fierce message!

The red type pretty well dictated that I show this in monotone anaglyph.

The Lost World - A sequel to the famous Jurassic park movie will be hitting the theatres this summer. I had the opportunity to produce the first two prototype 3-D lenticular movie posters for this image but unfortunately lost the project to Kodak in the end. The loss is really that of Universal Studio's as those with any stereoscopic awareness will clearly see that this image is far better than the image Kodak produced for the project... it's a long story :-(

The dino image was photographed and provided by the client while the rocks were computer generated on the Mac with "Electric Image". This was my first experience using a Mac and I must say that Electric Image is quite an impressive animation and rendering system. To begin with, the rock models contain 484,000 polygons which absolutely gave me fits with both Lightwave and Imagine (my PC programs). In addition, the mapping procedure that EI uses for mapping bitmaps onto surfaces appears to be far superior to that of my other software. Anaglyph

Very dynamic and realistic conversion of this fellow. This was ultimately produced as a large lenticular image... had great depth and impact!

Had to convert this to a monotone anaglyph due to the wide use of red in the image.

Anaglyph

Seems to be our beverage area... This very dynamic photo presented some interesting challenges for 2D to 3D conversion. Nevertheless, given enough time and blood... it turned out remarkably well.

This was ultimately made into a large lenticular that had great depth and was very realistic!

Once again the colors dictated that this be shown as a monotone anaglyph.
